Big, bold, and beautiful, amazons (homo mazugni) are traditionally a warrior class, having spent centuries defending their vast fortunes against attack by humans. The 12-14 foot amazons are the female half of the mazugni species, the male half being Dwarves.

In some regions - particularly Khordanistan, amazon tribes would punish captured humans by forcing them to work as gullet slaves - swallowed repeatedly by every woman in the village until they have learned their lesson. After acquiring a taste for their attackers, many enterprising amazons decided to move to the human cities where they enjoy a limitless food supply and relaxed urban  lifestyle.  City-dwellers have begun replacing the orientalist term "amazon" with the politically-correct "imazuugnan".
